A friend told me this analogy tonight and it it is so true to me right now I wanted to share it with you. He said that people who are lost are like caterpillars and they are crawling thought the mud of sin. People that become saved are like butterflies, they don't really know that they are capable of flying yet, amid the struggles that they may have or things that are just holding them back. Christians that are able to shed their shame, hurt, and burdens and realize their identity in Christ and who he sees them as, are the butterflies that finally realize that they can fly. When we start flying there is no stopping us!  I have recently been able to see me through the eyes of God. Who he sees me as and what he can do through me. I have been filled with so much peace and joy that it is hard to contain it. I don't want to contain it, I want to shout it from the rooftops! I want let every one know that there is no place where God can't find you and rescue you. If you feel that you are in the deepest pit, there is still one deeper. If you feel alone in your struggles, there is always someone that struggles just like you. Father, show us how to be patient with others, for we don't know what their struggles may be. Let us always remember that ALL of us are under construction until the day that you return, only then will we be made perfect.

Hurt.............

All the people that hurt, all the people that can't feel anymore. I hurt for them. I hurt so bad that I can't bear it. The young people with blank faces and empty hearts. They only yearn for love. The love that they seek they will not find in the places they seek it in. I know, for I have been there. The love and acceptance that they long for is only found in the heart of Jesus. God, show us how to reach out to them, to meet them where they are and just be there when that breaking point comes and they are ready to hear the truth that you have and the healing love that only you can bring. Show me how to give their pain to you for I know that I am not strong enough to carry it. It is this hurt that drives a wedge between You and I. What I don't understand I have a hard time dealing with. Help me to not to run from what I don't understand but to give it to you, to show it to me when you know I am ready. Show me why I can feel their pain by just looking into their eyes. Show me why they know, I know.  Prepare us, teach us, build us up, strengthen us, humble us, for there is much to be done, and many lives waiting to be touched, by you, through us.

Remember Your promise to me, for it is my only hope. Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles.

Heal My Heart

Heal my heart cleanse my soul, I give you my mind to make it whole again. Take the lies, the sins, the pain, I give them to you with no shame. Come to me and hold me close, wrap me in your love. Take the past, mistakes, hurts, and scars. Make them a testimony for your glory. Live your life through me and I will display it with humble pride. Let the world see what you have done and that one of your children has returned home.

Hello

Just wanted to say hi. Keeping my head above water, and managing to have fun in the middle of everything. Gotta make life interesting somehow. I am enjoying myself and making a lot of new friends here. Life is what you make of it and nothing more.

Live, Laugh, and Love!!!
